MANIKAKO

About Me

Manikako started as a fund-raising arm of the House of Comfort Art Network, or ArtHOC, a non-profit organization that advocates empowerment through art. ArtHOC has been conducting art workshops as a means of self-expression and emotional outlet for children of unfortunate circumstances like poor living conditions, abusive home or physical illness. When ArtHOC crossed paths with a group of creative young minds, Manikako was born.

A Manikako is a handcrafted doll made out of donated scraps of cloth and notions. It’s much like a doll-shaped pillow that just begs for you to add color, love and story to it.

Para po sa mga nagtatanong ng design, ang mga Manikako ay gawa sa donated and recycled materials. Dahil dito, random ang mga kulay. If you have a color preference, let me know. I'll check our stocks and availability.

Pick up point is at Marajo Tower, 26th St. The Fort. Unfortunately, wala pa kaming store. Sumasali lang kami sa mga bazaar paminsan-minsan.
